Concorde Europe was established on 18th April 2001 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Concorde Group, a Delaware corporation. The Company has not traded its shares since the date of its incorporation.
Established in 1995 and commencing operations in 1998, Concorde Group is a financial services firm developing five core areas of business: investment banking, merchant banking, asset management, brokerage, and commercial finance and leasing. Concorde Group focuses on serving the lower quadrant of the US Middle Market (i.e., companies with annual revenue or market capitalization of more than $25.0 million but less than $1.0 billion), which it believes is being underserved by large financial service companies. Concorde Group has unusual management depth for a Middle Market financial services firm, with over 300 years of Wall Street experience represented by its management team.
The Company believes that there is a similar demand for capital in the UK, European, and Asian Middle Markets. Concorde Europe has decided to take advantage of this void and address these underserved markets.
